PROJECT CONSULTING

Our project consulting takes into account all aspects of customer requirements, application and product manufacturing, so that our customers can always expect a technically, qualitatively and economically optimised solution.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE CUSTOMER REALLY NEEDS

Listen, understand, implement – the process seems simple, but it is essential in finding solutions for our customers’ specific product requirements.

What do sales and technical staff pay attention to in their consulting communications regarding new customer projects so that we can provide our customers with a tailor-made, technically and economically optimised offer?

What are the electrical requirements in terms of power, current, voltage and frequency?

What are the thermal requirements in terms of temperature resistance and power dissipation?

What are the requirements for the mechanical design in terms of dimensions (installation space), stability and mounting type?

What are the requirements for safety classes and standards in terms of European (IEC) or American (UL) approvals, electrical standards (e.g. 61558), IP protection classes or short-circuit resistance?

What conclusions can be drawn for technical implementation with regard to winding materials (copper, aluminium, round/flat wire) and core materials/shapes (e-sheet steel grade, sheet or ferrite cores, EI/UI, ring or cut tape cores)?

What further conclusions can be drawn for technical implementation with regard to the type of cooling (air, forced or liquid), insulation materials, EMC behaviour and noise emissions?

What electrical and thermal test procedures result from the proposed solution, and what special additional tests or certificates does the customer require? Among other things, the following are relevant in this context: functional tests, high-voltage testing, short-circuit testing, partial discharge measurements (if necessary), and thermal cycling.

OPTIMISED IMPLEMENTATION FOR PRODUCTION AND QUALITY

The final electrical and mechanical design is then coordinated with production in terms of the manufacturing technology to be used: winding technology, core processing, assembly, wiring, casting and impregnation processes, as well as quality checks including final testing along the process chain, are discussed in detail to ensure short throughput times and thus compliance with quality and delivery deadlines.

This list is certainly not exhaustive, but it should once again make it clear that our project consulting takes all aspects of product creation into account, so that our customers can always expect a technically, qualitatively and economically optimised solution.
