When supplying machines or systems with electrical energy, it is sometimes necessary to transform the mains voltage to a specific, fixed voltage value for the operation of the connected machine or system.
MBS-MP develops and manufactures the right transformer for this purpose according to customer-specific requirements. Tailored and optimised for our customers’ machine or system applications.
We offer low-voltage dry-type transformers – primary side max. 1,000 V – according to your specifications, in single-phase or three-phase versions, designed for different power ratings up to approx. 300 kVA.
Depending on the intended use, they are designed as isolating transformers, autotransformers or matching transformers. Our specialists always optimise them technically and economically for efficient, long-lasting and safe operation in your plant.

Are you interested in a fixed transformer suitable for your application?
A dry-type transformer uses solid or air insulation instead of oil, making it suitable for indoor installation in industrial environments. It has a fixed voltage ratio – unlike variable transformers (variacs).
A dry-type transformer has a fixed, unchangeable voltage ratio. A varaic or toroidal variable transformer (ring-core transformer) allows stepless adjustment of the output voltage.
Low-voltage dry-type transformers operate on the primary side up to 1.000 V and use dry insulation (no oil). MBS-MP manufactures them in single-phase and three-phase versions, custom-engineered to your specifications.
MBS-MP manufactures three-phase dry-type transformers in the MP-DTT-ECO/ECOplus (isolating transformer) and MP-DUT-ECO/ECOplus (custom voltages) series. All available as individual units or series production.
